Catie founded Pen + Napkin in 2015 with the sole purpose to solve needs in the community by gathering other like minded creative professionals, like herself, to meet these needs. It was simple - see a need, meet the need. She said YES! to a family of 7 who needed furniture in 2015, and has been doing it ever since. With a background in furniture design and designing interiors for entertainment industry office spaces, she knows how to make a space both beautiful and functional - a skill that is much needed in our community. As our President she is committed to seeing our projects executed with love and at a level of excellence.
Megan Wright joined P+N as the VP and Development in August 2016. She has run her own successful Home Organization business with an eye for design as well as experience in sales. Her love for Pen + Napkin began with the same desire to help in a practical and beautifying way to respond to the needs of families in her own community. Bringing her husband and four children along to meet families and help on install days is a huge part of the atmosphere Pen + Napkin believes in and why it brings so much joy to her.
Ellyn Molzer our Donations Coordinator & Secretary, came to LA by way of Nebraska. As a creative professional with skills that range from Acting to Producing, it wasn't long before Ellyn found herself working in the industry. After 5 years, she decided to do some volunteer work with Pen + Napkin and it was that first project that really stole her heart. When she saw the kids faces light up as they walked into their fully furnished home it was all it took for Ellyn to make the biggest career move of her life and do Pen + Napkin full time, she's been with us ever since.
